WHY WE BUILT IT
“I started Gigs & Places to help people just starting out find gigs. It grew into something I hope can be for everyone: a fair, affordable place where venues and performers find each other, without the runaround or the booking fees.”

It's free to start, there are no booking fees, and the pay goes straight from venue to performer. We're opening in the United States first, aiming for early 2027, with plans to expand into other countries.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How much does it cost?

It's free to start. Free plans can post gigs, apply and book, and there is no fee on any booking. Paid plans raise the limits and add features; their limits and prices are set before launch.

How do performers get paid?

The venue pays the performer directly, the way they agree in the app. Gigs & Places doesn't handle the money or take a cut of the pay.

When and where do you open?

In the United States first. We're aiming for early 2027, with plans to expand into other countries. The waitlist hears first.

Who can join?

Musicians, comedians, DJs, speakers, dancers and other live acts, and the venues that book them. You need to be 18 or older.

What about event planners?

They're coming soon, along with people booking for private events. Pick “I'm planning an event” on the waitlist to hear when.

What do you keep from the waitlist?

Your email, whether you perform, run a venue or plan events, your language, your ZIP code if you give it, and where you found us. We use it only to tell you when we open.
